the reigns of Aptech Computer Education centres
at Aluva and Irinjalakuda, and of Chemmanur Academy
of Advanced Studies (formerly, St. Stephen’s College of
Advanced Studies - an off-campus academic centre of Mahatma Gandhi University,
Kottayam, Kerala) at Irinjalakuda, Chemmanur Academy introduced CGFNS
and IELTS training programmes which, indeed,
became a boon to hundreds of Nurses who sought employment opportunities
abroad, especially in the United States of America.
Ever open and attentive
to changing market trends, Chemmanur Academy subsequently introduced training
in Communicative English and Personality Development, Medical Transcription,

Chemmanur Educational Trust (formerly, St. Stephen’s Educational
Trust), was established on October 8, 2001, with a view to setting
up Educational Institutions for providing formal and non-formal education.
Accordingly, Chemmanur Academy of Advanced Studies (formerly, St. Stephen’s
College of Advanced Studies) was established in the same year at Irinjalakuda,
Kerala, which soon became an Off-Campus Academic Centre (Centre Code:
073) of The School of Distance Education, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam,
Kerala, conducting various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered
