However, depending on the purpose for which IELTS examination is being taken, a candidate may be required to choose IELTS-Academic or IELTS-General. In the case of a Nurse planning to migrate to the United States, for example, what is required is IELTS-Academic with an overall band of 6.5 and a band of 7 for the Speaking module. Chemmanur Academy’s IELTS training programme consists of a 35-day intensive coaching. Eligibility

As far as Chemmanur Academy is concerned, admission to IELTS training is open to all. However, the Agency requiring the candidate to clear IELTS may stipulate Agency-specific eligibility criteria. Either way, a good foundation in English would be desirable.

Training Schedule

Classes are normally held between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. However, the candidates have the option to use all the facilities at the Centre even outside class hours. Classes are held using modern audio-visual equipments. Regular tests and practical sessions and group interactions add to the effectiveness of the training programme.

Training Fee

The basic fee for IELTS training is Rs.4,000/- However, a candidate who has already undergone the IELTS training programme at Chemmanur Academy may join any number of subsequent batches for a special fee of Rs.500/- per batch. In all cases of payment of fees, applicable taxes will be extra.

IELTS Crash Programme

A crash programme of appropriate duration depending on the requirement of the candidates is organised at Ernakulam prior to the IELTS examinations for the exclusive benefit of the candidates who have signed the Recruitment Agreement through Chemmanur.
